Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos
Jason and Lucia are a duo who, after a heist gone wrong, get caught up in a large criminal conspiracy in the state of Leonida. In the shown footage the two act as a team. In chase scenes one character takes the wheel while the other shoots.
Switching between the characters
Reports about the Extended Look describe that the game switches between both characters. A crime profile is said to rate the player's behaviour. How exactly the switch works in the finished game is not explained.
Supporting characters
In the Extended Look, among others, Boobie Ike, the owner of a nightclub, and Brian Heder appear. Reports additionally name Rayman, Nesto, Raul and Andres de Leon. Rockstar has not yet explained what roles they have.
The way into the story
The shown mission begins with a job from Boobie Ike. Jason and Lucia are to pick something up and end up in a police raid. They then escape through the building. Rockstar has not revealed more about the plot, and we avoid speculation that comes only from leaks.

Our take
The mix of confirmed and merely reported names shows how little Rockstar has revealed so far about the pair's surroundings.
