2. Hosting and server log files
This website is operated by a service provider who makes the content available on its servers (processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR). When you visit a page, technically necessary data is processed: IP address, date and time of access, the address accessed, the amount of data transferred, referrer, browser type and operating system.
The purpose is to provide, stabilize and secure the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in trouble-free operation). Log data is stored only as long as necessary for these purposes and is then deleted or anonymized.
3. Cookies and local storage
Technically necessary storage: We store your cookie decision and, if you use it, the progress of the launch checklist in your browser's local storage (localStorage). This data never leaves your device and is not read by us. Legal basis: § 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Non-necessary services (advertising, external videos) are only loaded once you select "Accept all" in the cookie notice. Legal basis: § 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). You can withdraw your consent at any time without giving reasons:
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
4. Google AdSense (advertising)
With your consent, we embed advertising from Google AdSense, provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Your IP address and usage information are transmitted to Google; Google may use cookies or comparable technologies to deliver ads and measure their performance, potentially including personalized advertising.
Data may be transferred to the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR are also in place. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Information from Google: policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can adjust ad settings at myadcenter.google.com.
5. YouTube videos
On some pages we embed videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, address as above) in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). A video is only loaded once you actively start it by clicking. Only then is a connection established to Google's servers, transmitting your IP address and device information; for logged-in YouTube users, Google may associate the usage with the account.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent given by clicking). Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Fonts and media
Fonts are served from our own server. No connection is established to Google Fonts. Images and videos on this website are delivered via our hosting provider's content delivery network, which technically processes your IP address (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
7. External links and affiliate links
This website links to external offers (e.g., Rockstar Games, retailer shops, donation platforms). When you click these links, you leave our site; the respective provider is then responsible for data processing. Some links are partner/affiliate links: if you make a purchase, we may receive a commission. The partner may set cookies or process identifiers in the link address to attribute the purchase. Such links are labeled as advertising.
8. Contact
If you contact us by email, we process your information solely to handle your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once the inquiry has been resolved and no statutory retention periods apply.
9. No user accounts, no profiling by us
This website offers no registration, no newsletter and no user account. We do not create user profiles ourselves and do not use our own analytics software. No automated decision-making takes place.
10. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with future effect.
Please contact us using the details listed above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; for us, this is: Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
11. Changes to this policy
We will adapt this privacy policy whenever the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here always applies.
