A size comparison looks objective, but the result depends on what is measured. Water, inaccessible edges, interiors and elevation can make identical figures feel entirely different.
Released games allow comparisons of drivable distance, known boundaries and the distribution of major places. That helps show how Rockstar has structured worlds across generations. A square-kilometre figure still cannot explain journey time or how much happens along a route. Our tool therefore uses area for orientation rather than presenting one ranking as unquestionable truth.
A smaller city may feel denser because of traffic, interiors and short routes, while a wide landscape may deliberately create isolation. Elevation, water and vehicle speed also change perceived scale. For players, the frequency of decisions and encounters is often more important than distance to the boundary. The comparison highlights those differences without quietly mixing incompatible methods.
Rockstar has not published an official area for Leonida. Community projects reconstruct possible outlines from trailers and coordinates, but every number depends on assumptions. We therefore label Leonida as an estimate and update only when stronger evidence appears. Claims that it is twice or three times larger are not reliable product information without a common measurement method.
