The European classification authority PEGI has awarded GTA 6 an 18+ age rating. According to the board's detailed summary, the title contains bloody violence with a high level of realism, noting that specific weapons can cause detailed decapitation and dismemberment. The assessment also highlights frequent drug use, allowing players to consume illicit substances alongside other characters or directly from their inventory. Notably, the description specifies that players can carry cocaine and snort it directly from their hand at any moment. While the game had already been rated by other entities like the ESRB, PEGI's breakdown provides new insights into these explicit mechanics.
