In an interview with IGN, Rockstar North's Rob Nelson discussed the relationship between protagonists Jason and Lucia, noting that physical intimacy will be an important element of their dynamic. The two characters operate both as criminal partners and romantic lovers throughout GTA 6. Nelson stated that the studio went through multiple iterations to ensure the handling of intimacy felt right for the game. According to IGN, swapping characters can occasionally switch to Jason's perspective while he is naked in the shower. Although age ratings note nudity and sex scenes, there is currently no indication that any sexual sequences will feature interactive gameplay.
